What is all this about? Or. . . .

What is 'NoPeaceNoVote' all about?

It's simple.

We tell our children that no matter what the provocation, physical violence is not justified. And that we will not support them, if they are violent. Further, we will punish them if they are violent.

We say all this to our children, but we never say it to our government. The government justifies a military attack by giving various reasons. And because governments are supposed to maintain law and order, it means they misuse their authority when they are behind violence or war. Like a child tries to justify provocation, a government justifies it too. On grounds of patriotism. But do they ask us citizens what we feel when they declare war against another nation? Never. They declare it, then they justify it. And then they use the sacrifices of the soldiers of our country to whip up our emotions and fuel hatred for the other country.

Half the time, governments declare war to win elections.

It is time to put a stop to this. NoPeaceNoVote will put pressure on governments. We will vote against ANY government anywhere in the world which wages war against any other government. You won't against yours and I will vote against mine.

I, Ashish Kaul, humbly ask you not to allow anyone to misuse your patriotism. I request you to vote out any government that is waging a war, or has its army occupying any foreign territory.
Our method is a peaceful one. We are not alligned to any political party and we will not allow any political entity to misuse our strength. They will try for sure because that is the way they are, but they will fail. They survive by divisive and sectarian politics only because we allow them to.

We are simply saying to our respective governments:

IF, UNDER YOU THERE IS NO PEACE, THEN WE WILL VOTE YOU OUT.

It is high time politicians focussed on what we want them to do, instead of diverting our attention to war and creating hatred amongst us.  You will see how easy it will be for us to do this. The internet allows us all to connect and shape our destiny in a positive and peaceful way.

Let "World Peace" be the legacy we leave behind for our children.

I have just started this blog and am now trying to see how to put voting buttons on it. Once that is done, please vote in favour of peace. Meanwhile, please do comment and pledge your support. Let the numbers overwhelm them, make them pause before they take any trigger happy decision.

Over time, I will write about every government or country that is misusing its powers and violating peace, governments that have ordered their army into foreign soil, governments that are interfering militarily in other countries. I will write about each objectively so that the world is enlightened objectively with simple fact. Please follow this blog to stay updated, to vote, to contribute. If this blog ever generates any funds, then those will be used only for creating, strengthening and running the organisation (NoPeaceNoVote), allowing it hopefully to take this agenda beyond the internet, on the ground with physical presence in countries that have big military spending. That is the dream.

If the United Nations cannot do it, we certainly can.

Thank you and I look forward to your support.

Ashish Kaul
P.S. I live in India and see violence all the time, invariably justified very cleverly. I don't want to talk much about myself, because I want actions to speak; I want you to speak; I want us all to speak.
